CNC Press Brake Overview

All CNC press brakes in the Liva Abkant series share the same core technology; every common feature is on this page.

Electro-Hydraulic Hybrid Working Ecosystem

A closed-loop electro-hydraulic synchronized servo control system is used. The hydraulic system uses German-origin Rexroth components together with a fully electro-hydraulic proportional servo control oil pump.

Energy SavingReduce your carbon footprint and save with 55% lower CO₂ emissions than hydraulic press brakes.
High Precision and QualityGet excellent bending accuracy, surface quality and high repeatability.
Quiet and Comfortable OperationThe hydro-electronic servo system lowers the sound pressure level to 50 dB for quieter, more comfortable operation.
Low Maintenance CostLower maintenance costs than hydraulic press brakes save you money.
High EfficiencyA faster return speed and minimal cycle time make part production more efficient.

Stress-Relieved Frame Structure

The frame designs are rigid to keep deflection to a minimum under load. After the machine frame is machined and welded we apply stress relief to improve its mechanical properties, reduce deformation and spring-back, and increase stability and durability.

Back Gauge System

One of the most important factors affecting bending quality is the design and stability of the back gauge. Error-free bending and error-free parts are only possible with a stable, precise back gauge.

The high-speed back gauge moves on ball screws and is also supported by a linear guide, giving long life, precision and resistance to impact. The stepped back gauge finger is designed to handle every type of bend with maximum stability.

Control Unit

The DELEM DA-53TX control unit makes your bending jobs easy and fast. The 15-inch touchscreen simplifies programming and bending operations.

Motorized Crowning

The CNC-controlled motorized crowning system gives error-free results at every point of the bend. It automatically calculates bending differences caused by the material or other factors, so you reach a perfect result.

Front Sheet Support Arms

Thanks to the linear guide and bearing system, the strong front arms move easily left and right and lock at the desired position.

Quick Tool Clamping System

Thanks to the new quick tool clamps, changing tools is now much easier. You do not have to remove the whole tool set each time; you can quickly add or remove a tool segment from below.

Environmental Factors

Necessary precautions must be taken in areas with strong vibration and electromagnetic interference. The electrical capacity of the installation site should be checked and, if needed, action taken before installation.

Power Supply

380 V, 50 Hz; voltage fluctuation is −5% to +10%. If the voltage fluctuates widely a voltage stabilizer should be used; otherwise the electrical equipment will run abnormally at low voltage and its life will be shortened. Power fluctuations can cause faulty bends, stoppages from motor alarms and damage to computer hard disks.

Ambient Temperature

Ambient temperature should be 0 °C to +40 °C. At low temperatures the lubricating oil becomes very viscous, which affects lubrication and can damage or disable components. A relative humidity of about 20% to 80% (non-condensing) is recommended.
